Beautiful
example of a typical
Umbrian farmhouse, to be restored, with a small
tower on the top used as a dove-cot.
This
property is located in an enchanting sun-drenched position with magical
views of the Monti Martani and the Naia Valley, between Acquasparta
(5 km) and San Gemini in the heart of the thermal springs
area of Umbria.
Stone
house of 360 sqmt on two floors with tower that still preserves
the original
beams and old
terracotta floorings.
The
ground floor, used originally for stalls, has brick arches,
stone floors and the old feeding trough. The first floor has numerous
rooms with high spacious ceilings and a staircase leading to the dove-cot.
There
are also two
small annexes for a total of 100 sq mt. The house may be enlarged
for another 90 sqmt. Included in the house are some old building
materials (beams, terracotta floor and roof tiles) that can be utilized
for the restoration.
